Wow! new get fast food Mexican food! Great little gem In Altoona. The burritos are stuffed with generous portions of meats and toppings. Everything we tried was great we had the Hawkeye breakfast burrito and the Aztecs burrito.

As residents of Altoona, my husband and I were ecstatic to hear about the New Mexican restaurant coming to town and we were not disappointed! We love Gilbertos, if you are familiar with the Des Moines Metro, it's similar to Albalardos. Fresh ingredients, fast, drive thru and great value for the price.

I had the BK steak ranchero burrito, which I would definitely recommend! The salsas on the salsa bar were great additions to the burrito. The service was excellent, and the food came out promptly. The portions were generous for the price. I plan to return to Giliberto's !

The service here is quick. Theres a drive up option. We opted to eat inside. It was very nice inside. Very clean and the staff is extremely nice. The food has good flavors. They also have beer and a small salsa bar. The corn on the cob is fantastic. We are excited to come back.
